Art by Carlos Ezquerra
This new T-shirt features the classic Strontium Dog cover from 2000 AD Prog 486, drawn by master artist and SD co-creator Carlos Ezquerra, from 1986.
Having transferred from 2000 AD’s short-lived stablemate Starlord, Strontium Dog quickly became one of 2000 AD’s biggest and most popular strips, a searing satire on prejudice, xenophobia, revenge and mercy that still hits hard to this day. This popularity was in no small part thanks to the art of co-creator Carlos Ezquerra, whose gritty, dynamic, and thrilling work sealed the strip’s popularity in the hearts and mind of Squaxx Dek Thargo.
