One of the Genetic Infantrymen created to fight the war against the Norts on Nu Earth, Gunnar was killed at the Quartz Zone Massacre but saved when Rogue removed his dead comrades’ biochips and placed them into slots in his equipment, hoping they could one day be given new bodies.

Trigger-happy and cynical, Gunnar was placed into Rogue’s rifle, where his great aim and telekinesis abilities mean he’s more than a match for the North – even on his own!

Created by Gerry Finley-Day and Dave Gibbons, the design for Gunnar’s bio-chip – with trademark ‘2’ designation and skull motif
